Seek help: If your symptoms are going on for 5 days and you are starting to feel dizzy, you may need IV fluids. If you are able to keep fluids down and you have access to a drug store, Pedialyte is great for electrolytes. You can also take in fruit juice, sports drinks or broth. Dry toast, rice, crackers and low-fiber fruit like bananas are bland foods usually well tolerated. ...Read more

This is not due to the absence of the gall bladder. It is self limited, but if it persists longer than one likes, try imodium. Good luck ...Read more

Bad pain & diarrhea: If you haven't had much to eat for several days, & you have what sounds like severe pain when you eat you should really be evaluated by a physician without delay. At the very least you are at risk of dehydration. Six days of persistent symptoms is worrisome for significant infection, inflammation, ischemia of the gut or even a disease state elsewhere in the abdomen. Don't try to sit this one out! ...Read more

Are there certain foods that can worsen the diarrhea side affects?
