How long should the bladder area be tender after a percutaneous stone removal with a stent in place? I've never been  this sore just from the stent.

From stent: The bladder discomfort is from the stent within the bladder. As long as the stent is present, the discomfort will remain. Having a percutaneous removal of a kidney stone should will not cause bladder discomfort. Costochondritis?: Could just be an inflammatory process of unknown cause that is responsible for your symptoms. Ask your doctor if a course of anti-inflammatory medication is appropriate.
