Months of left side/flank pain & 2 neg cts. Then sudden blood in urine/clots, & bladder spasms. diangosis pyelonephritis. Can this explain pain for months?
Partially: Very possible that a low grade infection caused the initial symptoms, then became full blown pyelonephritis , which requires initial IV antibiotics and long term treatment (at lest 3-4 weeks).
