Severe abdomed pain: Uncommon. Sudden onset severe abdominal pain after severe blow or crushing injury in presence of a full bladder. Referred shoulder pain can also be present. Bladder is then usually empty + no urine if subject attempts to void. Classically result of a steering wheel injury. Needs urgent attention. Diagnosed by cystogram xray.
