Stopped sertraline: unlear when or why u stopped setraline - which may be relevant. sometimes when an SSRI is stopped, there may be a mild adjustment this change, and some pts report dizziness during this adjustment time. Dizziness is also a symptom of anxiety, so could be resurgence of anxiety symptoms. finally, could be unrelated. Schedule a visit with ur doc to discuss & receive the proper diagnosis & treatment ...Read more

I been on Risperdal and Zoloft (sertraline) for 3 weeks now and lately I can't sleep, concentrate, I feel constant pressure on my head, and anxiety. Is it normal ?
See your doctor: These are very common side effects for these medications which should diminish to the point you can tolerate them by 1-2 wks. I am assuming that since you are posing this question on Healthtap that these symptoms are still. Very bothersome. Discuss with you doctor possible dose change or alternate med(s). Can hydroxyzine help with the head pressure symptom of a panic attack? I'm also taking Zoloft (sertraline) 50mg. Is this a good combination?
It can!: Hydroxyzine has a sedative effect, generally a very strong one depending on the dose. That is, the more Hydroxyzine the greater the sedation. Combining medications is always a process that deserves attention because you want to avoid interactions. In this case there is no concern with zoloft (sertraline) and hydroxyzine. However, you want to be careful with metoprolol and zoloft (sertraline). ...Read more
What to do if I am taking 1mg of klonopin and one 25mg of zoloft, (sertraline) and one 50mg of inderol for blood pressure, is it ok to have 1 12oz beer?
NO ALCOHOL!: You cannot combine klonopin and alcohol. Klonopin stays in your system for more than a day after taking it as well. The combination can have an unpredictable / multiplying effect on sedation, respiratory depression, and intoxication. Alcohol is not worth the risk. Alcohol can also temparily lower your blood pressure which may not be good to do with Inderal (propranolol) on board. ...Read more

Im 23 and my blood pressure was 107 over 37 lastnight after checking due to palpitations, my concern because i'm on zoloft (sertraline). Is that a normal bp?
I notice with my social anxiety i get head pressure. Im currently on Zoloft (sertraline) 50mg. Will the Zoloft (sertraline) help with the head pressure or should I take tylonol?
Zoloft (sertraline): Zoloft can have headaches as a side effect. Anxiety can result in the same -- so assessing your baseline is important. Your doctor may be working gradually with the dose so that your body becomes accustomed to it, and any side effects dissipate. This may happen in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, you could take tylenol (acetaminophen) but no more than 3000 mg/day. Keep track of symptoms to share with doctor. ...Read more
I got off zoloft (sertraline) 2 weeks ago. My head feels very woozy like it is in a swimming pool. I also have a lot of head pressure. is this normal with getting off zoloft (sertraline)?
Is 200mg of COq 10 safe and effective for lowering blood pressure? Current meds are Zoloft losartan betapace and nexium (esomeprazole). Any interactions?
There are two forms: of CoQ10. Neither has been regulated by the FDA. (One form appears to have more antioxidant properties). Several conditions have been associated with low CoQ10 levels including HTN, heart failure, certain cancers, gingivitis, gastric ulcers, etc. Currently there has not been a consensus arrived at as to the BP lowering effects (due to lack of controlled studies). May affect Zoloft (sertraline) level a bit. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
