Unlikely: it is unlikely that a 2 to 3 mm stone in your kidney is giving you any symptoms at all. Just specially unlikely is giving any bladder symptoms since it is a long way from your bladder. Occasional discomfort after voiding or at the end of urination as infrequently as you describe is certainly not unusual. ...Read more

You need a full exam labs urine C&S. 24 urine for stone analysis kidney ultrasound or CT.. And usually empiric antibiotic therapy pending the results.
