This : This is a very concerning state. First, have you changed or started any medications lateley? Have you had any other symptoms, like fevers, chills, having the light bother your eyes, or a stiff neck? It sounds like either myelopathy (spinal cord dysfunction), a mild meningitis (inflammation or infection of the covering of the nervous system), or neuropathy (nerve dysfunction) and you should probably have an MRI of your cervical spine (the spine in your neck) and brain. If those are normal, you should have a very thorough evaluation by your neurologist, as there are a number of conditions that can cause those symptoms. This is not a condition i would move slowly on. Best of luck, i would also (given the serious nature of your symptoms) consider looking into seeing a neurologist or neurosurgeon at a major teaching hospital in a major city to make sure you get the most advanced care available. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
The bladder is a muscular organ in the pelvis that accepts urine from the kidneys, stores the urine at low pressure, & expels the urine during voluntary voiding. Though seemingly a simple reservoir, the bladder is a complex organ intricately connected with the brain and spinal cord with sensory, motor, and autonomic circuits. The muscular layer that contracts during voids ...Read more

Urology : You need a urology consult. The pain could be from a varicocele, hydrocele, orchitis, or it may be referred pain possibly from an indirect hernia. Urinalysis and kidney function evaluation seem like reasonable next steps but a physical exam by a knowledgeable Urologist seems like the best move. ...Read more
Likely causes for severe middle back pain that's neg. on scans and not responsive to PT, TENS, or injections? Also leg numbness and bladder problems.
Varies: Presumably you have had a negative MRI of the thoracic spine, which is good at ruling out major structural causes there. Other possibilities include vascular causes, non spinal neurological conditions, and involvement of other areas of the central nervous system. Consider seeing a neurologist if you have not seen one. ...Read more

Tailbone pain for about 1.5 mths. No injury remembered. X-ray done and spine curvature found. No numbness/bladder problems. Sacral chordoma?
Varies : Are you saying you do have a sacral chording? If so, that is your answer. A much more common cause is known as coccydynia, which literally means pain from the tailbone. I would not hesitate to be seen. An exam and appropriate studies can usually determine the cause. ...Read more

Sounds serious...: When a person loses control of the bladder, but was fine before... that's a problem. When combined with neurological symptoms in the legs or lower back, it becomes an emergency. In such a situation, one should get an immediate evaluation to see if there is something pressing on the spinal cord, which could lead to permanent paralysis. Pinched nerve, back: With the above symptoms, i suspect you may have some pinched nerve in your low back regions...Some people have much pain and others not so much. 30yr fit male. My leg will often go completely numb when constipated combined with a feeling of inability to to empty bladder when doing a bowel movement. Is this normal? What could be the problem?
See answer: Constipation related to any cause is commonly associated with difficulty urination (hesitancy, poor stream, difficulty emptying, etc) especially in older men with an enlarged prostate. Numbness in leg(s) though is not common and suggests a possible underlying neurological problem (which itself can cause voiding and bowel problems) and i would recommend you see an md for evaluation. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Lower back pain & exhaustion numb breast but can still feel my areola & nipples off &on bloating constipation and my side hurts like its on my bladder?
Lotsa possibilities: Your varied symptoms are not the easiest to pinpoint a diagnosis for, so it would be wise to see a doctor. Low back pain in the young can be muscle spasm or disc disease and possibly a bladder issue or severe constipation so a thorough eval by your doctor is in order. The numbness is not clear as that usually implies a nerve is pinched. The GI symptoms definitely require more detail to evaluate. ...Read more
Discomfort: Fallen or prolapsed bladder means the vaginal tissue overlying the back bladder wall is pushing out through the vaginal opening. The tissue should be moist, and when it is protruding, it dries out a bit. This condition also makes it easier to get a bladder infection because the opening of the bladder is distorted, and the bladder doesn't empty well. A pessary or surgery can help. ...Read more
