Yes: An ultrasound is the best imaging study to look at the pelvic organs (tubes, ovaries and uterus). An ultrasound can be used to evaluate bladder. A doctor wanting to evaluate the bladder, may also use cystoscopy, or putting a camera into the bladder and examining the walls of the bladder directly. Depends: Depends on type of surgery, need for mesh, amount of dissection that needed to be done during surgery and how bad was your bladder defect.
