Could be OK: If i understand you correctly, you have a baby tooth that is retained in your mouth. You probably are missing the permanent replacement tooth. If there is enough of the baby tooth's root in the jaw bone and no decay (cavity) on the tooth you can leave it. Your dentist could add some filling material to the top of the tooth to get it to touch the opposing tooth. Otherwise, an implant would work. ...Read more
