I have red and black veins in my eyes and black dots all over my body could it be parasites?

Not likely : I would recommend that you see a family physician to check your body to evaluate the black bumps. As for you eyes, the red linear lines are blood vessels that should be there. The "black" veins may be just pigmentation around the vessels that can be a normal variant depending on your ethnicity. If you are concerned that they're new, bothering you, or changing, have an eye exam by an Eye MD. ...Read more

Likely benign: More than likely you are seeing something related to the small blood vessels of the eye. Unless you are having irritation, pain, or other symptom it is probably nothing to worry about. However, if symptoms, or if it changes see someone. Foreign bodies, and small blood vessel injuries can cause such spots. ...Read more

So I have red veins in my eyes I think because I played my Xbox one a lot but I stopped yesterday and I've grown like a little black dot on a vein?

Likely nothing wrong: Using the eyes intenstively, with Xbox or anything else, cannot change the appearance of the eye's blood vessels, and certainly can't cause a "little black dot". Almost certainly nothing is wrong. Stop examining your eyes. ...Read more

See doc: If the headache throbs and often associated with nausea, it is most likely migraine which can be controlled with various Rx medications. At times numbness may be a part of migraine. Have you talked to your doctor about this? As for the small veins, they are not likely to be significant unless they are spreading or proliferating. ...Read more

I have permanent veins in my eyes that just won't go away. It doesn't hurt. Is this normal?

Depends: This may be entirely normal. Many individuals have prominent conjunctival and episcleral vessels just as a matter of their anatomy. In some, however, especially if the vessels are extremely prominent ant tortuous, this may be a sign of an intracranial process such as carotid-cavernous fistula or cavernous sinus thrombosis. In others, it represents inflammation. Have it looked at. ...Read more

Exacerbations of eye redness may occur from a variety of things such as dryness, wind, tiredness, allergies, infections, inflammations, & chronic use of some types of ophthalmic medications. As a benign treatment, trial some otc artificial tears (eg. Refresh tears) to soothe your eyes. ...Read more

What can I do to cure dark circles and veins around my eyes?

What can I do to cure dark circles and veins around my eyes?

Several things!: Dark circles are caused by 1) deep eye socket vascularity (nothing to do about this), 2) darker skin pigmentation (hydroquinone therapy or periorbital peels can lighten), and 3 )shadows from eyelid "bags" (eyelid lift surgery can smooth and remove the shadow-causing bulges). Prominent periorbital veins can be eliminated by skillful sclerotherapy (without worry about vision--different vessels). ...Read more

How do I get rid of dark veins under my eyes?

Several Options: There are essentially 3 options to treat veins around the eyes (periorbital)-laser, sclerotherapy or microphlebectomy. Laser is a topical treatment that usually requires multiple applications. Sclereotherapy involves injecting a solution into the veins to dissolve them just as is done on leg veins. This is my procedure of choice. Microphlebectomy requires making small incisions to remove them. ...Read more
