Today, my poop had dark black stuff in it. Also, I was changing my maxi pad, my old maxi pad, had nothing but black stuff in it, no red blood at all.
IF: menstrual blood is black - don't worry. That just means that old blood is being cleaned from the uterus. If your bowel movement is black - that might be from taking peptobismol or iron. Is it possoble to see prunes and chiku fruit to show up in ur stool undigested. And show up as blackish stuff?
You bet!: That is certainly possible, especially if only parts of thhe stool were black. If the entire stool is black more than once, that is more worrying and if so, and you are weak, or dizzy, or have pain get checked. I love prunes! I've never had chiku, is it sweet? Constipation: Small sized stool round in shape means it has been sitting in the colon for a long time and all the water is absorbed and has formed pebbles. My 8 months old son has a blackish green cylindrecial hair like stuff in his poo and he oushes a lot while feeding as he is constipated but he's not.
Should be seen: You are not describing normal stool for either a formula fed or breast fed baby. Most solid foods at this point would still be in puree form so that would not explain either.
