I have black period blood at beginning of cycle with clots in it have had problems with cysts before and two removed could it be another cyst causing?

In general: black or brown discharge suggests old blood--blood that has been retained in the uterus/vaginal tract loses its oxygen (oxygen makes it red) and retains the iron/heme making it appear black. After two months, I think this is worth a trip to your doctor for evaluation.
