Does this affect my Skyla at all? Natural Change Blend SP-7D (red clover black cohosh pomegranate red raspberry wild yam fenugreek seed butternut fennel)

Probably not.: Although it sounds as though it probably would not affect it, nutritional supplements are not tested or overseen by any regulatory agency, so it is impossible to know for sure what you're getting. You should discuss any potential interactions with your OB/GYN. Hope that helps. ...Read more

Homemade diet supplement which consists of a zippfizz, 1/2 tsp ground chia seeds, 1/2 tsp ground flax seeds. Been drinking 1x day. Be ok to do 3x day?

I wouldn't because:: You can have all the flax ; chia you want but i'd be cautious re: zipfizz- it's high in caffeine ; has some hazardous ingredients such as sucralose (http://bit.Ly/1eavvqa), synthetic vit e ; high doses of Cyanocobalamin which has cyanide! (http://bit.Ly/mm1ce9)-i wouldn't take 7500 mcg(in 3 doses zipfizz). Instead try a good b complex with methylcobalamin ; a green drink like orac energy greens. ...Read more

I mixed smoothie with apples, grapes, berries, raspberries, romaine spinach, almonds, and flax seeds. Will this help my skin? & do I drink it 2 a day?

Maybe (not) . . .: I'm not aware of any randomized double blind placebo controlled trials demonstrating any benefit from a smoothie as described above in an adequate sized population of otherwise similar men & women. Nor am I aware of any dosing recommendations. However, I'm sure it's better than eating junk food! ...Read more

Not likely: The color of the stools can certainly be affected by the type of food that we eat, but usually not black unless you eat raw red meat or other dish containing animal blood. If you are really having jet black and tarry stools, then it may suggest bleeding inside the stomach or small bowels. You need to see your doctor right away for urgent evaluation. ...Read more

Sodium free beans (kidney, black, garbanzo, pinto) vs sweet potatoes which is healthier for wright loss? I've been eatin beans and avoiding potatoes

Neither: Both types of foods contain high glycemic index sugars, the sweet potatoes being somewhat worse. A balanced, lower fat diet and exercise will suffice for weight loss of 10 lbs. Or so. A larger weight loss might require a specific diet. Of those available you should look at the dukan diet. It is a low-fat, high protein, low glycemic index-food diet and is safe for most people. ...Read more
