I have some black dots under my skin that won't come out. It's only on my pointer and middle finger and they are only in two small areas. What r they?
Can my husband have a planters wart on his finger tip or is it something else? It is a little black dot under the skin, & hurts him when he pushes down on it. It is on the very tip of his finger.
Warts: Warts are caused by human papilloma viruses (hpv). Different hpv viruses tend to live in different parts of the body. Most plantar warts are caused by hpv1. Plantar warts are on the plantar surface of the foot. What you are describing sounds like it may be a wart. However, it probably a different hpv than a foot wart. There may be: Just a soft tissue injury but there may also be a nondsplaced fracture or even a displaced fracture that a tendon or ligament attaaches to.
