Maybe not: If you were my patient i would try you on continuous without the ssri, then add the ssri if needed. If you are already on the ssri, i wouldn't necessarily take it away just because starting continuous. You're doctor knows you best so i would take his/her advice. ...Read more

See your doctor: It would be best to wean off with medical supervision..Esp with a psychiatrist. Depending on how you react to medication, some people can taper off quickly while others require more time.
