Pollen allergy?: If the swelling occurs only during the summer and you have documented allergy to pollen during the season, you may consider starting allergy shots during the off season to modify your allergic response to that pollen. I agree with Dr. Al Hegab that the benefits are not fully understood at this point in time and immunotherapy solely for the purpose of treating OAS is not recommended.
