Diabetes, HTN: The commonest cause of kidney disease leading to dialysis is diabetes. Hypertension is a close number two. If you have either of these, it is important to have your kidney function checked yearly at the least. Certain drugs like nsaids- (ibuprofen family) can lead to kidney disease when used frequently over a long period. There many other causes but the these 3 are the ones you can do most about. ...Read more

On hair, skin and nails vitamins with 3000 mcg of biotin for at least 4 years now.@1daily for 2 months and then a break. Can I go up to 5000 mcgbiotin?
Yes, totally safe:
Biotin is extremely safe, in fact there is absolutely no known toxicity from any amount of biotin. 5000 mcg may sound like a lot, but it's the same as 5 mg, which may not sound like much.
Whether it helps you is another question; it will help if you are deficient but deficiency is uncommon. Advise continuing the Skin, Hair and Nails vitamin too.

Would hair skin and nails vitamins be more beneficial than biotin pills? (heard online that biotin pills cause hair growth in areas such as legs, arms
Now, think about it: You want something to help hair/nails/skin but you are worried that it will cause hair growth where you don't want it. Certainly no supplements will preferentially aid growth in only specific areas! There is some evidence that biotin does improve keratin infrastructure important in healthy hair/nails. But not clear any better than the right amount of other B vitamins best obtained in healthy diet ...Read more

I am taking hair skin and nail pills. It says to take 3 pills a day and has 3000 mcg of biotin per serving also with antioxidants. Is this safe?
Yes it is safe: Regarding Biotin and it's ability to help with hair and nail issues, there is very weak data that stated it might help. This was done in horse hoof studies that showed some help and the human studies were very weak studies. 9000 mcg of biotin is ok since toxicity studies have shown no issue up to 200, 000 mcg. But honestly I don't think these pill will do anything for your hair and nails. ...Read more
1- 50mcg zinc and 2- 1000mcg biotin each per day. Is this safe? Zinc for sexual health and biotin for hair/nails/skin.
Safe yes. Effective?: Biotin and zinc are found naturally in a normal diet. Supplementation is rarely needed. The RDA of biotin is about 30 mcg/day. Whether high dose supplement promotes healthy hair/skin/nails is unknown, but it's probably safe. The RDA of zinc is about10 mg/day. I suspect you're taking 50 mg not 50 mcg, which is safe, but there's no evidence that supplement beyond the RDA has any health benefits. ...Read more

The pill or oil:
Either the fish oil or the pill could be contributing to your break outs. The pill changes your natural hormone balance so that you may become more testosterone dominant. And some people react to omegas plus hormones by breaking out.
