Hard lump discovered 2 wks ago behind ear. Dr said if not gone in 4 wks then biopsy. Should I wait on biopsy longer than that if no other symptoms?

Not the thyoid: If you have hashimotos, it is common to have a nodule, and the bx would likely be inconclusive. Don't worry about it. You may become hypothyroid some day.
