Unlikely: The lab findings you provided do not reflect the inflammation of liver, so called hepatitis. Elevated level of indirect bilirubin suggests the possibility of excess of red cell destruction. ...Read more

Few years ago I felt in a blood test report that the bilirubin was slightly above the normal range. In a latest test it is 1.9 mg/dl. Pls comment.

I'm not worried: Several percent of humankind have Gilbert's, a non-disease with somewhat elevated bilirubin. If you've skipped a few meals in a row and noticed your eyes got a bit yellow when viewed in sunlight, that's you. Or you might be tearing up red blood cells from a mild hemoglobin problem or from exercise. If you seem healthy otherwise, don't worry about it. ...Read more

Probably okay.: This set of results may be a sign of what is called Gilbert's syndrome, which is not a significant problem, although one would need to see the rest of the liver tests to have a better idea of what is really going on. I have a bilirubin level of 31.7 umol/L & my liver US showed fat build up.all other blood levels are within normal range. BMI is 21. Any huge concern?
