CT Scan: "Liver is normal in morphology. Mild intrahepatic biliary duct dilatation. Normal common bile duct". Is this normal?

Relatively normal: If the radiology report states normal morphology it is fairly certain there are no big worries. We do not know why the scan was ordered but mild intrahepatic biliary duct dilatation may be completely normal for this patient. The normal common bile duct finding means the liver, pancreas and gallbladder empty in to a normal duct that drains into the intestine. All good findings. Good luck. ...Read more
