Why did my dr tell me i might be a candidate to have a septum removed when they diagnosed me with a bicornuate uterus?
Big difference: There is a big difference between a septum and a bicornuate uterus. . A septum is a divider of your uterus but the outside of the uterus is normal. It can be excised. Bicornuate uterus: During development the uterus starts as two horns that come together and eventually form one cavity. If this doesn't happen completely you can have a bicornuate uterus.
