I have a lump deep under skin in the biceps muscle in the lower1/4of humerus. It is soft/squishy. Sono is inconclusive no bruise or lipoma. What is it?
Get it seen: Lipomas are often missed on us because the density of the lipoma is the same as the surrounding fat. That would be the most common soft tissue mass that is invisible on us. Best to have an md look at it. Hard or rapidly growing masses ar more concerning. Biopsy is the only way to know for sure. But a slow growing, soft mass may be watched with a physician if it acts benign. ...Read more
It feels like a bruise in my biceps muscle underneath my arm halfway between the armpit and elbow. When I press it, it feels like a small lump.
Maybe: NO history is available but this may be a bruise of sorts. There may be a small vessel rupture and could have created a small lump called a hematoma.
