Could be: There are 4 muscles in the rotator cuff, and depending on which one has a tear, pain could be in various place.
Pain in the biceps could also be from subacromial bursitis. The bicipital tendon goes into the capsule there, and bicipital tendinitis often goes along with bursitis. Bicipital tendinitis can radiate down into the muscle. ...Read more

Get it seen: Lipomas are often missed on us because the density of the lipoma is the same as the surrounding fat. That would be the most common soft tissue mass that is invisible on us. Best to have an md look at it. Hard or rapidly growing masses ar more concerning. Biopsy is the only way to know for sure. But a slow growing, soft mass may be watched with a physician if it acts benign. ...Read more

There may be a small vessel rupture and could have created a small lump called a hematoma. Have you looked to see if it appears bruised?
