Cannot diagnose: You are not providing sufficient info to even begin to guess what is going on. Agree: I agree with the other poster, if this indeed is the case, as a pulmonary specialist, i would want to do a work up on your that may include breathing tests, chest imaging, and an immune system (immunoglobulin) assessment. I : I assume that you're not old enough to qualify for medicare, or someone would have suggested that. You may be able to qualify for medicaid, which a needs-based state program (as opposed to age-based, like medicare). The medicaid program varies a lot from state to state, so you should probably contact your local social services office to discuss new jersey's coverage options. It would probably also be useful to contact the nearest medical school. There are three in new jersey and one of them may have faciltites in your area. Medical schools recieve federal funding for their trainees and often have a lower threshhold for accepting patients without insurance. In the meanwhile, you might start taking a daily aspirin. Since i haven't met you and know nothing about your medical history i can't make a specific recommendation in this regard, but Aspirin may reduce the likelihood of additional clots forming. Also, if you smoke, then please stop now. That's the best single thing you can do to save your feet if this is a blood flow problem. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

The : The most important thing to rule out is pneumonia. Although your chest x-ray did not show pneumonia there is a chance it was too early to be seen on the x ray, it developed afterward, or was missed. Pneumonia commonly occurs after a viral URI (cold) or bronchitis, so it is a real possibility especially since you have a persistent cough. I hope a diagnosis is found soon and effective treatment follows. Best of luck. ...Read more

I got a headache last night and it went away. At work near the end of the day it came back. Should I be worried?
Headaches can come: and go without rhyme or reason. Anything can cause headaches. If you are not familiar with headaches, then you are luckier than most at your age. But if it recurs especially every day or other day, and you just need to get to the bottom of it, go see a healthcare professional to help you sort it out. Woke up with vision sensitivity, as if there was flashing all around. After a few minutes my vision went back to normal.
Could be migraine: Some people have a visual migraine (visual symptoms with no headache) with flashing in the peripheral vision that resolves after a few minutes. Symptoms like this might also be from low blood pressure encountered right after awakening that resolves as the pressure normalizes. In both cases, there should be no risk to the eyes or vision. ...Read more

What to do if I have pain in the middle of my back and im wondering if i may have a chill as i went out today and didn't wrap?
Muscle spasm: Cold can induce a muscle spasm - and I wonder if this is what's bothering you. I would recommend to try and warm up. A hot shower might help. If things don't improve shortly, you may need a doctor to examine you, particularly if other symptoms develop. Cold weather can be a 'stress' on the body and sometimes even a small stress like that can lead to a host of other problems. (I think of a camel) ...Read more
