Positive pregnancy test the day after intercourse then hCG levels were 600ml/iu 2 days later? Pregnancy this soon?

Yes: Although the pregnancy is more likely due to a different episode of intercourse than the one the day before taking the test. Alternatively, considerably much less likely, you could have another source of HCG produced in response to another (non-pregnancy) medical condition. ...Read more

Sex and Plan B 60 hours later. Brown discharge for 2 days two weeks after plan b. Negative early response preg test 3 weeks after sex. Pregnant?

Unlikely: Your negative pregnancy test is a good sign. Your period cycle may be altered by the Plan B. As long as you haven't continued to have unprotected sex you are probably not pregnant. I suggest talking to your provider about long acting reversible contraception- IUDs, nexplanon or depo to prevent this in the future. ...Read more

Had unprotected sex on 21 Feb,got last period on 5 Feb. pregnancy test kits as tested on 18 March negative. Blood test beta HCG <1.20mIU. Pregnant?

No: Based on the information you provided, you are not pregnant. It would be prudent to repeat the home pregnancy test in a week, unless you get a period by then. Conception, as defined by the generation of a fertilized ovum, occurs within day or so of the sex. However, it takes about 2-3 weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine. ...Read more

Is a negative beta hCG blood test (<5) after 19 days of sex( 2days period delay), 100% reliable? Can i still be pregnant?

Is a negative beta hCG blood test (<5) after 19 days of sex( 2days period delay), 100% reliable? Can i still be pregnant?

Possible: 2 days after a missed period, with a negative blood test for pregnancy, you are unlikely to be pregnant, but no lab test is 100%. To be sure you should repeat the test in 4-5 days. In about a week you could do a home pregnncy test using first morning urine and following he instructions in the kit carefully. If the repeat blood test or the home test are negative that would rule out pregnancy. ...Read more

Had blood test that was 56hcg then 2 days later went to 1 was told miscarriage because negative ultrasound, 2 weeks later feel pregnant ?

Could be pregnant: When an HCG level is 56, it is positive for pregnancy, but an ultrasound will likely not show anything until the level is 2500. Hcg levels double every 2-3 days, so it would take several weeks until the ultrasound would show pregnancy. Sounds like another HCG level would be prudent. You could still be pregnant. ...Read more

Had a normal period 2 weeks after taking plan B 2 days after sex. 3 weeks now, feeling bloated and nauseous. Pregnant? Hpt 3 weeks after sex- neg

Pregnancy unlikely: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by foods, herbs, common illnesses, sexually transmitted diseases, or medications. A correctly done urine test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. If worried, one can repeat the test next week with a different brand of urine pregnancy test. ...Read more
