Yes, If you can...: Find a surgeon who'll do it. Most surgeons i know do not like to remove tonsils on adult males unless there is a clear indication because the risks of bleeding are higher. Not much: If you have a bad taste in the mouth and a bad odor to your breath, tonsillectomy will cure the problem. I do not think you can do anything to make the crypts of the tonsils smaller.
