Swelling: It's normal as you progress in the pregnancy to have this numbness. It's because your body hold onto water and causing swelling and retention. It is definitely normal. Compression on different nerves by swelling tissues causes this numbness. Not much you can do but wait it out until pregnancy is over and your body will release that water.
