I need a list of clear sodas with caffeine due to drinking clear liquids for a colonoscopy on the 6th of April. The problem is I need caffeine to help?
What can I eat before my colonoscopy? They told me clear liquids, but what does that mean? Coffee’s not clear, but they said i can have that. What about orange juice or soda?

Unfortunately yes : Don't drink it too fast-there is no rush.Some people spread it over an hour.Try drinking through a straw so you can't smell it.See if your doctor will let you mix it with apple juice or sprite. Beer is clear: Prior to colonoscopy it is best to keep the bowel relatively empty not to interfere with visualization of colon mucosa and any potential growths. Clear liquid for the most part is liquid without residue, that is virtually transparent to light. Obviously milk does not fit into profile, nor fruit juices for the most part. Apple sauce is not allowed. Red jello and liquids are not allowed because they can make any remaining fluid in the colon at the time of the colonoscopy look like blood.
