Do you mean dermoid: If you have a dermoid cyst / ovary and if it is large enough - greater than 5 cm then it needs removed. There is no medication to remove / resolve this condition. It also is not responsible for your absent periods because the other ovary can /should be functioning well. ...Read more

Fever: If your temperature is 104 degrees you have a serious infection which needs to be diagnosed and treated. One 17 mm cyst could be nothing more than a normal functional cyst growing an egg and certainly doesn't require surgery and probably not even medicine.
