No: You might get away with it, but corticosteroids have a small, but real risk of causing cataracts and glaucoma as well as a peculiar rash known as "perioral dermatitis". We prefer to use tacrolimus ointment or sirolimus cream as these are very effective but are not steroids and probably are free of risks. There are several products which can be used. I would suggest a major brand line cream for eczema. Use the product three times daily, Avoid immersion of face in water for more than brief time periods. An hypoallergenic facial wash and no make up products may also help
