No perfect tests!!: Some of these tests(CEA) are only useful for far advanced Cancers(not helpful for early detection of polyps or colon cancer. CEA and CA 19-9 are tumor markers, they are useless for most cases of early cancer. Abdominal ECHO has limited usefulness to detect fluid and certain cystic lesions, not useful for Colon Cancer.
