Not normal: See your obgyn as you may have an ovarian cyst or other problems and if u haven't ahd an us u need one to r/o ectopic and if u have had one and have an iud u need another one to r/o cyst or other problems and to make sure u are not trying to misc and it could be due to non OB causes so please call your obgyn now. ...Read more

Mainly during labor: Avoiding the right side is mainly used during labor when there are fetal heart rate abnormalities as a tool to increase blood flow to the placenta. Depends.: Where you are in your pregnancy, how big your abdomen is and how much pressure was put on it (and your baby), the strength and intensity of the massage, and possilby other factors all can have an impact on abdominal soreness after massage. The short answer is that if it hurt you it could have hurt your baby, though reassurance is probably more in order. See your OB and find out. No more massages! ...Read more
