My insurance/TRICARE doesn't kick in until SEP so my child will be almost 6MO by the time he gets his 4MO shots. Is that alright?

Should be : That should be fine although some entities are very solidly behind an arbitrary immunization schedule and that will put your little one behind on the schedule. Can vitamine B12 deficienty cause an overactive thyroid?

Can vitamine B12 deficienty cause an overactive thyroid?

Not Exactly: The most common cause of both an overactive thyroid and B12 deficiency is autoimmunity, in which the immune system mistakenly attacks one's own tissues and proteins. Having 1 auto-immune condition makes it more likely for a person to develop a 2nd autoimmune condition, but it wouldn't be true to say that one condition caused the other. The underlying autoimmunity caused both. ...Read more
