About only thing proven is that an ounce of apple cider t night can very slightly reduce blood sugar levels by a few %, possible useful for some biabetics. No effect: Any specific effects of vinegar would be neutralized by stomach acidity which is much stronger. There is a subset of health alternative advocates who advise vinegar for health benefits but there are no clinical studies and I note that are selling "organic" vinegar at a staggeringly higher price than vinegar in the grocery store. Usually it's diluted: In a glass of water and not taken straight if a person has stomach issues, as it is acidic in nature. You may want to discuss this with your doctor to see if you can benefit from this or not. Theory-- No: Biochemical Fact--increasing the acidic level raises the amount of active ingredient dissociating, not the speed. More of the active ingredient may be available to be absorbed, but the reaction will not happen any faster, and effectiveness and outcome are not guaranteed for the substance you are talking about.
