Benefits Of Drinking Lemon And Ginger Tea
Greetings! what are the benefits of drinking greentea flavoured with honey and lemon? & also how many times can i use a single green tea bag?
Green tea is: A metabolism booster, thus it has a reputation for helping w/weight loss. The benefit is minimal in my estimation, but worth adding to to a health food plan an exercise. Honey is soothing to the throat and an anti-microbial but it is in the sugar family so it's not a free pass because it is "natural." It's a far better choice than refined sugar. I don't know about Strepsil. Use bag 1 or 2 times. ...Read more
Human studies suggests that 1g daily of ginger may be effective for nausea and vomiting in pregnant women when used for short periods (no longer than 4 days). Several studies have found that ginger is better than placebo in relieving morning sickness. In a small study of 30 pregnant women with severe vomiting, those who took 1 gram of ginger every day for 4 days reported more relief from vomiting than those who took placebo. In a larger study of 70 pregnant women with nausea and vomiting, those who received a similar dosage of ginger felt less nauseous and did not vomit as much as those who received placebo. Pregnant women should ask their doctor before taking ginger, and should be careful not take more ...Read more

Can lemon balm tea help calm you down? Make you feel relaxed? Is it safe to drink if i'm taking nortriptyline 40mg at night?
Is drinking 60oz distilled water a day dangerous? I am doing the Jillian Michaels Detox for 7 days (lemon, cranberry, dandelion root tea)is it safe?
In context.: Drinking 60 oz of water (doesn't have to be distilled) is adequate for hydration. That amount of water, in general, doesn't have any health effects as long as you're healthy otherwise (no kidney disease, &c). However the "detox" plan & its duration isn't generally advisable. Detox is nutritionally deficient & you can get electrolyte problems. Check w/ your doctor before starting any "fad" diets. ...Read more

May help as long as::
Green tea in moderation may increase chances of conceiving. However, if you have more than 2 cups a day I advise using decaf, as high amounts of caffeine may reduce fertility- see http://tinyurl.com/pvks29m
While Lipton is OK, I strongly recommend organic green tea if possible to minimize exposure to pesticides and other toxins- see http://tinyurl.com/lecy84c

Can i drink yogi honey lavender stress relief tea that contains chamomile,lemon balm ,and lavender with 1mg of ativan tonight?
Yes: That tea will have benefits in terms of helping you to relax, and, of course, the Ativan will also help you to relax. Both the tea and Ativan may make you sleepy so you'll be more sleepy and relaxed if you take the tea and Ativan together than Ativan alone, but it is safe to take both. But maybe if you take the tea you could get by with 0.5 mg of Ativan. The tea is healthier for you than Ativan. ...Read more

How many cups of ginger tea (yogi) would you need to drink a day to reek the benefits? Since drinking tea my bloating and gas has subsided a bit.
Hard to say but...: Herbal medicine is an inexact science. According to http://umm.Edu/health/medical/altmed/herb/ginger 1 gram (1000 mg/day) is a good dose to reap the benefits for digestive issues but i can't find out how much ginger is in a cup of yogi tea (ti varies on how long you steep it, how hot the water is). It's safe to take many cups a day so experiment. But other treatments may help too- see comment:. ...Read more
