Bulging discs can be: A source of pain i guess. It is more likely to cause pain if associated with facet inflammation or annular tears. A significant bulge can over time progress to a fank herniation. You should be under a doctors care for this. Also the neck pain is not related. It is a different area and you can have arthritis or disc bulges or herniation or stenosis. You shoudl ask your doc. ...Read more

Bending backpain: Pain while bending forward can be most likely from a damaged disc, but stretching back muscles that are in spasm may also cause pain while bending forward. Blood in stool should not be ignored. Most likely hemorrhoids, but could be something deeper within the bowel. Please see a surgeon for that.
