IkeM928: We unfortunately dont have your age, but mild inflammation around the umbilicus is not uncommon, and usually caused by not drying well when exiting the shower or bath, to sweating in hot climates, but the important issue is not to mistake that for a periumbilical hernia, where there is usually swelling and pain as well.
