During sex I felt a sharp pain level with my belly button but closer to the area between my hip bone and the bottom of my ribs.still hurts and nausea?

Abdominal pain: Instant pain that doesn't linger in the abdomen is usually related to gas/cramping in the GI tract. An exam is in order: The only condition that comes to mind is an umbilical hernia or start thereof. That's why I recommend an exam. I've been doctoring for over 35 years and this clearly isn't a common issue so I can only make conjectures but it sounds painful enough to get it looked at.
