Bleeding after intercourse and right side pain. Partial laproscopic hysterectomy 9 years ago. Belly button pain as well.
3 problems: 1. Bleeding after intercourse in some one who has had a hysterectomy is not common. The doctor will need to do an exam to determine where the bleeding is coming from since you have no uterus. 2. Ask your surgeon: THis seems a long time, and there are lots of possible causes. You certainly need to check in with your surgeon and possibly be seen. Belly discomfort: This is likely due to the stretching of tissue on the abdominal wall. If there is burning a little lower, you should see your doctor to rule out a urinary tract infection. This sound like stretching however. If the pain gets worse, a physical exam will be important to rule out other problems like hernia, injury etc. ...Read more

Cellulitis?: It is not uncommon during pregnancy and strectching of the abdominal wall to have pain and possibly even some redness at the belly button. Adhesions?: If there's going to be a serious complication from tubal ligation, it usually occurs in the first two or three weeks after surgery. Omphalitis: Belly button infections are very rare in adults. It may be due to something as simple as a skin infection or infected hair follicle. I would recommend local wound care and antibiotics.
