Sore navel: May be a little abscess ( do you have a ring? ) or a cyst as they tend to recur unless the wall is removed, . Consider dabbing some alcohol on it. and follow up with doc urgent care this week , especially if sore as may need antibiotics. Also check for umbilical hernia whihc may need treatment ...Read more

Cholecystectomy?: ShontelleR242 ~ you had a lap chole and that involves 2 small incisions in abdomen to insert scopes and the abdominal cavity gets distended with air to push the other organs away for op site. Hernia...: Diastasis recti is the separation of the abdominal wall muscles above the belly button which causes a lump when intrabdominal pressure increases as when doing a sit-up.
