Stomach belching: I am assuming you have had test for gall bladder problems and stomach problems. Make sure you have had endoscopy. You could have aerophagia which is swallowing too much air unconsciously. Ask you doctor to make sure you do not have sprue which is difficult to detect. ...Read more

Abdominal bloating,: May be unusual intestinal virus or could be food poisoning with camphylobacter as that has a waxing and waning presentation (usually diarrhea as well). Do you have diarrhea? See a GI doc: At this point certainly I would like you to follow up with a GI doc. There are other medications like Omeprazole that may help. Also there may be further lab testing or endoscopy that may be necessary.

R u being treated for the ulcers & probable reflux from hiatal hernia? Reflux: You symptoms are suggestive of reflux. Watch lifestyle/diet especially amount of caffeine, soda, fatty foods, spicy foods, alcohol, smoking. Some thoughts...: Belching can be caused by the type of food you eat (carbonated drinks), if you eat large meals (not enough room in the stomach) and even anatomical problems like a hiatal hernia.
