Theory of Mind (ToM): Many children & teens with iq's >70 & mild autism desire friendships, but ?ed tom (ability to understand that others may have a different point of view) gets in the way. Put candy in an obvious, empty band-aid box &, with dad elsewhere, ask your son, "what will dad think is in this box?" if he says, "candy, " (because that's what he knows is in the box), social skills group therapy can help him. ...Read more
