Behavior Problems In Five Year Old Twin Girls
5 year old gets upset very easy she is very clingy and doesn't catch on as quickly as her twin could she have a learning or behavioral issue?
Possible: Tough to say, but most commonly, early behavioral issues are first diagnosed by the parents. Studies have all shown the importance of early diagnosis and intervention also. It may be simple "sibling rivalry" and a cry for attention in a 5yo, but you can not go wrong having her evaluated by a pediatric behavioral specialist to be safe. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My five year old daughter touched another little girls private area is this a sign of molestation? Should I be worried?
Time for discussion: We consider peer sexual exploration to be normal when it involves another kid within 2 years of their age.If it is beyond that threshold it enters a gray area of potential sexual exploitation.A simple open question to her of what this means to her would be in order. We try not to shame kids for normal behavior but the discussion can be neutral. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Hi, i have twin girls that are 11 months old and one of them just came home from the hospital, the other one likes to pull on her tubes, suggestions?
Create obstacles: to pulling on the tubes. You can wrap the site with gauze, cover with clothing that the other twin cannot get into readily, secure the proximal end of the tube to a layer of clothing and place another layer over it. If you are dealing with nasal tubing, you will have to keep them far enough apart that the twin cannot reach her sister's tubing. Always be sure YOU can get to and inspect the tubes. ...Read more
