It can be: A problem. Prednisone can increase the chance of increased stomach acid and inflammation, like gastritis or even stomach/duodenal ulcers. Alcohol may contribute to this as well. You didn't say why you are on it, but I am guessing a COPD exacerbation, which means you probably smoke. The combo of alcohol, tobacco and Prednisone is not a good one for your GI tract.
