Not especially: Used moderately, drinking some beer or wine can be enjoyable and not dangerous to you. Still, it isn't particularly "good." some studies praise the polyphenols and flavonoids (cancer fighters) in red wine. Actually though, hot cocoa contains much more of those. Cocoa is healthier than milk chocolate, because it's minus the extra saturated fat. ...Read more
Whole grains: Unless you have an allergy or sensitivity to one of the grains present in the whole grain bread, you shouldn't have a problem. Lightly toasting it will make the bread easier to digest. Whole grain breads beat white bread hands down! ...Read more

No one knows: The "received wisdom" is that whole-grain bread is healthier than the very processed stuff. It's tastier and more fun to eat. Just eat anything in moderation and exercise at least 3 hrs a week will likely keep you in better shape. ...Read more

If you make them with psyllium husk added, you can at least get some fiber in there. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Are you exercising too? Without physical activity (cardio), it is hard to lose weight. You have to burn more calories than you are consuming. You might be doing this already and have another reason for weight gain. ...Read more
