After drinking alcohol for a month I am now bedwetting can this be a cause?

It's a diuretic: Yes--alcohol is a diuretic which acts on the kidneys to make you urinate more often. There are of course also other possible dangerous effects from drinking too much such as liver damage and damaging effects on the brain. I suggest being very careful about how much you drink. If my 13yo daughter previously had no problems with bed wetting but has had two episodes in the last month should I do anything?

Probably yes: So-called secondary enuresis (onset of bedwetting in someone who has not been doing that for a long while) especially in a teenage is worth exploring. He is facing problem of bed wetting. His ultrasound report shows that his bladder volume is 133 cc. Please give some advise.

Restricting fluids in the evening, avoiding all caffeine, emptying the bladder just before bed and possibly getting up to void in the night can all help. Bed wetting alarms can help, particularly at this age. Ddavp (desmopressin) is a safe medication that can be prescribed as well. Discuss with pediatrician or urologist. ...Read more
