Mostly non-existent: Beclomethasone is a mild to moderate strength corticosteroid used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis or as a maintenance/controller medication for asthma. Some people may have side effects such as dryness in the nose which may lead to nosebleeds or throat dryness which can promote the growth of yeast. This can be minimized by orienting the nozzle toward the ear on the same side as the nostril, i.e. Spray out, away from septum, toward ear on same side. The spray then falls on the "turbinates, " 3 folds on the outer wall of the nose halfway between the nostril and the ear that swell to block the passage and make mucus to cause post-nasal drip. ...Read more

Perhaps: but not for more than 5 days consecutively. Be sure to aim Beconase (beclomethasone) towards the outside wall of the nose and see if it helps. We often add an antihistamine spray also if the Beconase (beclomethasone) does not work well enough after having used it for more than 5 days. See an allergist if none of the above worked. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

A blocked runny nose can also be symptomatic of nasal polyps. ...Read more
