Hi it's that I want diapers all the time and become incontinent what can I do to become incontinent?
Is it common for someone to become incontinent when they faint? I donated blood and wet myself in the process. Embarrassing. If relevant, I have POTS
You are to be commended for donating blood. Next time you donate, tell the nurse about your fainting episode so that they may take precautionary measures. It would help to drink plenty of water before donating blood. No harm done by wetting yourself, other than the embarrassment.

88 yr old mother used to be hypersensitive when having blood drawn or BP taken. Not now that she's become incontinent (both urinary & fecal). Normal?
More going on?: Sounds like mom is going through a lot of changes which may be scary for you. If she is incontinent maybe she also has become forgetful (dementia) or has other neurologic or medical problems. Ignoring needles sounds like a sign of a more general problem. I don't want to guess but hydrocephalus is a treatable cause of dementia and incontinence. What does the doctor say? ...Read more

I used to think a cough without fever was no big deal until I cracked a rib from a really hard dry persistent cough.

Varies widely.: Leakage will occur if the pressure inside the bladder exceeds the resistance of the sphincter and urethra. Some unfortunate patients leak constantly, with leakage as soon as urine enters the bladder. Some can store urine without leakage until a cough, sneeze, or bladder contraction expels urine unexpectedly. A bladder diary can help determine an individual's situation and aid in treatment. ...Read more
I am incontinent and a bed wetter at night, but don't have the courage to go to my doctor... what should I do?
Heard that doing lots of jumping and jogging makes women incontinent. Is that true or is leaking just noticeable?
Likely exertion.: Jogging is a considerable amount of exercise. It might put strain on muscles, your heart, and your lungs. Your bladder is another organ that can react to stress. Exertion is a stressful event and depending on your age/health situation, you may be taking drugs for and have other conditions that can affect bladder function. Unless this is interfering with life activities, it is probably normal. ...Read more

Incontinence bedsore: Patients that are incontinent of urine and/or stool can be prone to more frequent incidences of skin breakdown. Moisture associated skin damage (masd) is now an accepted concept for wound care professionals. If you think of skin as bricks (the skin cells) and mortar (the stuff in-between), the moisture weakens the mortar portion allowing for increased chances of pressure causing harm. ...Read more
