Add Miralax (polyethylene glycol): Constipation or stool holding is not uncommon at 22 months of age. It is very difficult to make a toddler eat the required amount of fiber/juice daily to overcome hard stools. To treat the stool holding/constipation i recommend 1/2 capful of MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) daily-an otc stool softener-adjust the dose so your child has 1-3 soft easy thin stools daily. I would continue it for 4-6 months. ...Read more

Are apples, cherry tomatoes, peaches, light yogurts, avocados, carrots, and watermelon good for diabetics?

Are apples, cherry tomatoes, peaches, light yogurts, avocados, carrots, and watermelon good for diabetics?

Diabetes and Food: I think the simple answer is no. But, when you look at these specific items in your list there are things that are lower in carbohydrates like the yogurt and the avocado. But, in each person with diabetes, the answer may vary based upon how well controlled their blood sugars are. The goal is to eat more protein and less carbohydrates. Is it normal for 7 month baby to eat 200gr of fresh fruit porridge (banana, apple, medlar, cherry, cherry plum, peach) between meals?

Childhood Obesity: Nope. Not at all. That is 800 calories. You are the parent. You are responsible for the health of your child. This is obscene and to me child abuse to allow your child to become grossly obese. If they are not obese they soon will be at that rate. 800 calories in a 7 month old between regular meals? That is extremely unhealthy. ...Read more

Is rotty prata can fattening?

Count the calories: Roti prata is a bread-type food, with oils and whatever other ingredients one desires to put in. If a person is at a great weight eating 1800 calories a day, and then adds a roti prata every day, but doesn't do anything else to burn off the extra calories, then it would be fattening. ...Read more
