U/s @23 weeks placenta 3.8cm from os-trans abdominal full bladder. At 28w different clinic transvaginal -3.4cm from os. Who is right? It's posterior.
Here are some ...: Are you suffering from pregnancy-related symptoms or sicknesses? If not, why have you got 2 US for the "same" reason - pregnancy? A comparison should be done the same approach preferably with the same machine by the same tech if possible. So, correlate test result with clinical profile, and I would not dig around with anxiety if you're free of undue pregnancy-related disorders. More? Ask Doc... ...Read more
U/s @23 weeks placenta 3.8cm from os-trans abdominal full bladder. At 28w different clinic transvaginal -3.4cm from os. Who is right? It's posterior
Irrelevant: Transvaginal ultrasounds is the best modality for assessing a placenta that is near the os (previa). However because your placenta is more than three centimeters away from the os on both scans, I would not worry about this finding of a difference as it does not matter. Make sure you don't have any bleeding though. Hope that helps and good luck. ...Read more

Tubal abortion. Dead fetus 17 x 27 mm located in pouch of douglas. Bhcg = 5.7 ; LMP = 9 jan; bleeding 2 mar. Will it absorbed in the body normally?
Yes, probably: A small number of ectopic pregnancies will actually "abort" out the end of the tube and not require surgery. This should never be the assumption, and weekly followup HCG levels should be performed until cycles resume and they remain negative. Also, in a case such as this, i would probably perform some form of ultrasound in the next month - this must be coordinate with an ob/gyn! ...Read more

5 ks pg, msd is 4.14mm, crl is 1.5mm, sonographer saw yoke, sac and fetal pole. Cramping and spotting all day. Do these figures look "good" ?
Has anyone heard of the north american clinic, where they use something called accurascope technology to remove/repair herniated discs. Your thoughts?
Back scope: The scope is only good in very small, simple back issues. Most the time these small bulges do not cause pain and the scope procedure gives minimal relief. This is why there are so few back surgeons doing these procedures. Many times insurance will not pay for them, so you have to pay cash up front. Consider another opinion with a local spine doctor before proceeding. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I am 5w4d. Ultrasound showed gs & ys dating 4w5d. Gs measured 8mm. Using the formula 30+8 that would put me at 5w3d. I'm really confused with the dating of the ultrasound vs the formula dating.
LMP: Remember, dating can never be exact - it's really just to get the best estimate for both tests throughout pregnancy and estimated date of deliver. If the ultrasound and the dating by your last menstrual period are pretty close, usually your dating will go by your last menstrual period - unless you were sure of it, or it was irregular, of you were taking birth control prior to pregnancy. Do obstetricians use gauze pads our something similar inside your uterus when performing a novasure endometrial ablation procedure?
No: Infrared cameras record light in the beyond red end of the visible spectrum. Fires, heat lamps and the sun put out far more infrared than such cameras and many of them emit no light at all but only record the image. It is the short wavelength end that is a problem such as uv light. ...Read more

Uterine anomalies: There are a variety of uterine anomalies. Each one must be assessed individually.
